Epworth Church offers fresh produce, and non-perishable items to food-insecure households throughout the community. We partner with the Mid Ohio Foodbank and other friends of the church who donate resources. Monetary donations are always welcome, and can be made through the “Supporting Epworth” page. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
Every Thursday, Epworth provides a free “mobile food market” to our neighbors in need. This is a non-contact process, following current safety guidelines for the COVID-19 virus. Once food orders are received on Wednesdays, food boxes are packed and delivered to your doorsteps on Thursdays.
This ministry operates within the boundaries of Dublin-Granville Rd. on the north, Oakland Park Ave. to the south, Cleveland Ave. on the east, and I-71 to the west. Current income levels for our produce markets apply for this ministry as well. However, if people are hungry, we give them food! If you are in need of food, please contact the church at 614.885.8015. A volunteer will contact you to schedule a food delivery.
Epworth, in partnership with the Mid Ohio Food Collective, offers free produce markets to the community from April through October. The markets now occur on the fourth Tuesday afternoon of each month. Each one is a drive-thru market. Simply stay in your vehicle and our volunteers will place the food items in your trunk or backseat, whichever you prefer. Please ensure these areas are clear. Folks without transportation may participate, too, but still must register in the south lot.

Each market will Start at 4:00 p.m. and End at 5:30 p.m. Registration for each market begins at 3:00 p.m. in Epworth’s south parking lot. Parking lot will be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. Use the Karl Rd. entrance. Bring an official photo ID with you.
2025 Market Dates are: April 22; May 27; June 24; July 22; August 26; September 23; October 28.
Households are eligible to participate in these markets when they earn no more than 200% of the federal poverty level. Click the Product Market Chart link on this page for specifics. Check here monthly for any updates.
During 2023, our 7 produce markets distributed 31 tons of produce to 3,929 people in 1,019 households.
